The Celebrant Registry

Find a Marriage Celebrant, or Civil Celebrant

Do you want a Celebrant who will write and present your ceremony, and help you write your own vows, which will enhance your enjoyment of your special day?
You have come to the right place!

CCGA members, aka Monash Celebrants, are all graduates of the intensive ‘Diploma in Civil Celebrations’ course at Monash University.  Celebrants are based city-wide in Melbourne, throughout regional Victoria and in QLD, S.A. Tasmania and the ACT.

Whether you want a simple ceremony or a grand one, a non-religious ceremony or one which celebrates your cultural traditions, a Monash Celebrant can make that happen for you.  If you want a park wedding, a beach wedding, one at a Reception venue or a home wedding – no problem. They are well-trained to write a ceremony based on your wishes, and help you to create your own ceremony if that’s what you want. Choosing your own vows or wedding poems?   Of course.

Legal requirements for getting married?
No need to worry about these.  A Monash Celebrant will steer you comfortably through all legal procedures, including applications for an Intended Spouse Visa if your partner is from overseas and, afterwards, applying for your Official Marriage Certificate.

And not only for weddings.
Monash graduate Celebrants also do Baby Naming, Commitment, Anniversary and Divorce ceremonies, and also Gay ‘weddings’.  All are also very well qualified as Funeral Celebrants and conduct high-standard services after consulting with families.

The cost to you?  You’ll need to ask, as independent practitioners each Monash Celebrant sets his/her own fee.

Whatever the type of ceremony you want, the final steps in your search for a top-class Celebrant starts here.

Our Civil Celebrants Directory has the following people and services:

Marriage celebrant, MC, birthday, renewal of vows, wedding vow renewal, commitment ceremony, baby naming, funeral ceremony, celebration, anniversary, gay marriage, same-sex commitment, wedding celebrant, civil marriage
